On the eve of its Golden Jubilee year. It has been decided to revisit some of its features which establishes its unique identity including its uniform.

In this context, KVS has collaborated with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) New Delhi, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India to review its present uniform and propose a change. As we are aware, the work related to this issue is already under progress and is expected that the model of the uniform would be rolled out by NIFT in May/June, 2012. Consequently, it has been decided that the new uniform would come to effect probably from the session 2012-2013 in July.

All the people related to KVS are informed that the old and new uniforms may continue to be in vogue simultaneously during the transition period. The old ones may be weaned out of use gradually within a period of 2 years i.e. by July 2014.
